Translator's Note:
It is a letter sent from Ikeda Misa of Nihon tenshu ko kyokai (old way of referring to the Roman Catholic church) in the city of Tobata, Kyushu. The date is Showa 20 (1945) September 16th. She worries about the recepient’s safety and describes her situation. The names of a Mr. Patrick, who claimed to be a college professor and used to be in a POW camp in Tobata, and a Mr. Bleck(?), who is English, are mentioned.
