Biographical / Historical

The Colorado Dominican Vocation Foundation was founded in 1999 to promote and fund vocations to the Dominican Order. As part of this, they had a regular fundraising event called "Windows to the Divine" that connected men in formation with local funders at an art show. On their webpage, it was described as "Through the beauty of art and the Windows to the Divine program, the CDVF promotes the vocations of the Dominican Order by providing spiritual and financial support to the men (novices) studying to become brothers or priests in the Dominican Central Province of the United States. The long-term goal of the CDVF is to establish an endowment to pay, via interest income, the annual operating expenses of the Novitiate associated with each novice (education, housing, clothing, medical, food)."

In 2024 the Foundation decided to end its relationship with the Dominicans and close, but continue the art show independently.
