The Provincial Archive Records collection contains information relating to the Provincial Archives, archivist communication, and associated committees. The collection includes corresopndence and office records of archivists, most notably Bernard Walker, Timothy Sparks, and David Wright. Records also include material of the Library Committee, which was formed to review the collections and transfers of the libraries at the former priories of St. Thomas Aquinas in River Forest and St. Rose of Lima in Dubuque in the 1980s. There are also minutes and communication of the Archives Committee, which was formed following the 1983 Chapter to the establish of a formal archivist role, budget, policies, and archival space in the 1980s. Material relating to the construction of the modern archival storage rooms, including blueprints and construction documents are also available. The collection comprises one box.
