Abstract

This collection holds the original artwork made by Fr. Robert Staes. Fr. Staes was a well-known illustrator within the Province, having worked as an artist in the advertising department of John Deere and Company in the Midwest. A small collection of digitized drawings are made available here and more can be found in the website in the external materials. The collection is housed within one oversized box and contains illustrated cards, original drawings, and reflections on various artwork. The collection is broadly sorted by theme.
