Scope and Contents
This collection holds documents and ephemera relating to the Bishop Lynch High School from its founding in 1963 to its transfer to the Southern Province in 1979. At this time, a single series exists consisting of yearbooks from 1963 to 1978.

Biographical / Historical
Founded in 1963 to serve the growing population around Dallas, TX, Bishop Lynch High School was named after the third Bishop of Dallas, Joseph P. Lynch (1911-1954). The school is run alongside the Dominican sisters. The school has continued as a ministry of the Southern Province since its creation in 1979.
