McGrath: Salvation - History in O.T.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains records and publications of the Priory Press, the former publishing arm of the Province of St. Albert the Great, as well as materials from its successor, New Priory Press. The collection is arranged into five series.
Series one contains textbooks and is subdivided into two subseries for high school and college editions. Each subseries includes complete sets of textbooks published by the Press. Series two consists of the general publications of Priory Press, including monographs and other works issued outside the textbook series. Series three contains publications of New Priory Press, reflecting the revival of the publishing program beginning in 2013. Series four is devoted to the National Newman Chaplains Association and includes a complete set of lectures from the College Outline of Sacred Doctrine: Chaplains’ Complete Lecture Outline, published by Priory Press in the 1960s. Series five comprises business and publication records, documenting the administrative history and publishing activities of Priory Press.
These series illustrate both the publishing output and the operational history of Priory Press.
