Relics and Holy Ephemera

Scope and Contents This collection contains the relics, holy cards, sacred vessels, and other holy ephemera donated to the province. It is separated into four series. The first series covers regular relics and is composed of four cartons. Sacred Vessels

This collection comprises Catholic liturgical artifacts, including 42 chalices, 16 patens, 11 cruets, and various sacred vessels and religious objects. The metallic items, such as chalices, patens, crucifixes, and ciborium, are stored in main archival storage to prevent tarnishing, while glass and other non-tarnishable materials are housed separately.
